On November 15th Retro Classics, Europe‘s largest historic and classic car trade fair, opens in Cologne once again".

The automotive industry has always been an important economic sector in the metropolis on the Rhine. Ford Germany is located in Cologne and Nicolaus August Otto, the inventor of the petrol engine, founded his company here in the 19th century.

From November 15th to 18th visitors can admire historic cars and motorbikes as well as neo classics in Koelnmesse. On an exhibition space of 60,000 square metres more than 450 exhibitors present about 1,500 vehicles.

At Retro Classics visitors find a mix of dealers, restorers and oldtimer-clubs as well as special presentations. For networking the industry meets at Allianz RETRO NIGHT, which is held on the first day of the trade fair. Another highlight is the CLASSICBID auction on Saturday.
