The countdown is on: Gamescom—the world’s largest gaming event—kicks off again in Cologne on August 26. All available hall space is completely booked.
The event will open on August 25 with “Opening Night.” Over the next five days, exhibitors, gamers, and industry professionals from near and far will gather at KölnMesse.
This year, the speedrun event Games Done Quick (GDQ) will make its Gamescom debut. For three days, from August 28 to 30, the focus will be on top-class speedruns and a shared commitment to a good cause. All proceeds from donations and sponsorships will go to the Gaming4Democracy charity project, an initiative that promotes social engagement and democratic values through gaming culture.
