From February 1 to 4, 2026, Cologne will once again host ISM, the world's largest trade fair for confectionery and snacks. Exhibitor interest is high: by November, bookings had already exceeded the final figures for the previous year.

The increase is due to both: new country participation and the return of international market leaders. Thirty-seven shared stands from 27 countries and regions have been announced.

With "ISM Ingredients", Koelnmesse is launching a new, specialized trade fair format that focuses specifically on raw materials, functional ingredients, and semi-finished products for the confectionery and snack industry. Like the supplier fair ProSweets Cologne, it runs parallel to ISM.

A special exhibition area will be dedicated to the topic of “functional sweets” in 2026. Hall 10.1 will focus on healthy products that combine taste and well-being. These include sweets with vitamins and minerals, probiotics, or plant and herbal extracts.

The popular Start-up Area will also be featured again at ISM, offering a glimpse into the future of the sweets and snacks industry. The highlight will be the presentation of the ISM Start-up Pitches Award 2026.

Transport services to the trade fair can be booked with Interline Cologne, telephone: 0221 29 23 22 86. More information about the trade fair can be found here.
