ISM, the leading trade fair for sweets and snacks, starts in Cologne on January 27th. This time the exhibition space is increased by 8,500 square metres up to 120,000 square metres: There is an additional hall (3.1) which houses a newly created Plaza with live sweet productions and sampling. The supplier-fair ProSweets Cologne will once again be staged parallel to ISM.
ISM depicts the current trends and themes of the industry: From vegetarian and vegan products through to gluten- and lactose-free or sugar and fat reduced sweets and snacks. But the trade fair not only covers chocolate, confectionery, biscuits and snack items. It also presents packaging and marketing trends, as for instance “to-go offers”. And of course there are several special events once more, like the Cologne Coffee Forum or the News Snacks Section.
