On July 31st the South American music show "Che Malambo" premieres in Philharmonic hall Cologne. The Argentinian dance spectacle is running until August 5th.
Malambo dates back to the 17th century and is inspired by competitive duels among gauchos, South American cowboys. Whirling boleadoras, the drumming of Argentine bombos and fast-paced dancing steps (zapeteo) are characteristics of the Malambo dance.
